Websites to check out
Center for Parent/Youth Understanding - At a time when an already confusing youth culture is changing quickly, CPYU helps parents, youth workers, educators, and others understand teenagers and their culture so that they will be better equipped to help children and teens navigate the challenging world of adolescence.  This website provides a Christian prospective on media.

Focus on the Family - James Dobson's organization promoting Christian values in families.

Plugged In -  Plugged In is a Focus on the Family publication designed to help parents, youth leaders, ministers and teens better understand media choices through reviews and discussions of movies, videos/DVDs, music, and television.

Troubled With - This website, published by Focus on the Family, is a collection of articles, resources and referrals organized by topic around family issues and concerns.

HomeWord - Founded by Jim Burns, HomeWord is a Christian organization designed to provide assistance to adults worldwide as they help young people make wise decisions and lead positive, vibrant, Christian lifestyles.  This site, similiar to Focus on the Family, is full of practical advice and ideas.

The Bible Gateway - The Bible Gateway is a tool for reading and researching scripture online -- all in the language or translation of your choice.

College Walk - Helps connect Christian freshmen to campus ministries
